These Terms govern your use of ShouldWatch (the Chrome extension, website, and API at shouldwatch.app). The service is operated by MIHOMO合同会社 (Japan) (jpmihomo.com). By using ShouldWatch, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

The service

ShouldWatch helps you generate structured digests of YouTube videos (verdict, summary, timeline, takeaways, critique) so you can decide whether a video is worth your time. Features, limits, and pricing may change as we improve the product.

Accounts

You may sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your Google account secure. We may suspend access for abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

Trial and paid plans

New users may receive a limited trial. Paid plans, if offered, grant usage credits or limits described at purchase. Unused trial or plan allowances may expire. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated at checkout.

Acceptable use

• Use ShouldWatch only for lawful purposes
• Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, scrape, or disrupt the API
• Do not use the service to infringe others’ rights or break YouTube’s terms
• Do not reverse-engineer or resell the service without our written permission

AI-generated content

Digests are generated with automated systems and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or biased. They are decision aids, not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. You remain responsible for how you use the output. Video content remains owned by its creators and platforms.

Intellectual property

ShouldWatch branding, software, and site materials belong to MIHOMO合同会社 or its licensors. You keep rights to content you submit only as needed for us to provide the service (for example, processing captions to produce a digest).

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MIHOMO合同会社 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on digests. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for ShouldWatch in the three months before the claim (or zero if you only used a free trial).

Changes

We may update these Terms or the service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above on this page.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Courts in Japan have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.
