ShouldWatch is a YouTube assistant that helps you create structured digests (verdict, summary, timeline, takeaways, critique). It is operated by MIHOMO合同会社 (Japan), company site https://www.jpmihomo.com. Product site: https://shouldwatch.app.

Data we process

• Google account identifiers (email, name, Google subject ID) when you sign in with Google — used for account session and trial usage
• Current YouTube video metadata and captions/transcripts needed to generate a digest
• Cached digests on your device and on our servers to avoid repeat work
• Hosted trial / plan usage counters on our API

How we use data

Captions and prompts are sent to our hosted AI provider solely to generate your digest. We do not sell personal data. Google sign-in is used only for authentication and usage limits — not for marketing.

Storage

Local settings, session token, and digest history use Chrome extension storage on your device. Account and usage records are stored on our hosted API (VPS). When payments launch, we process only what is required for billing.
